Responsibility for sustainable management

We base our business activities on the fundamental principles of sustainable, i.e. economically, ecologically and socially compatible, business practices. Companies are an integral part of a global, social and ecological system. As such, we bear responsibility for the future of our planet, its societies and nature. Sustainability is therefore an integral part of our corporate guidelines and corporate goals. The realisation of sustainable business practices is an ongoing process, the implementation of which is a high priority at all levels and in all areas of our company, going beyond the minimum legal requirements.

Responsibility for society

We take our responsibility for our employees and for cultural and social coexistence seriously. For us, respect for human rights is just as much a matter of course as fair and equitable working conditions – not only at our company, but also at our suppliers. We firmly reject child labour, exploitation and corruption. We actively promote diversity and are committed to respectful coexistence in all areas of society.

Responsibility for the future

Our economic activities are guided by the principle of avoiding current, foreseeable and anticipated future risks to the environment and society, or preventing them from arising in the first place. We want to play an active role in shaping the future and take advantage of the many opportunities offered by sustainable business practices.

Responsibility for transparency

We report regularly, comprehensively and transparently, both internally and externally, on the status of sustainability within the company. This covers progress made, but also remaining challenges and goals, as well as the measures required to achieve them. We are open to dialogue with all social groups, provide the media with information relevant to sustainability, and cooperate with authorities, associations and other institutions.

We specifically support the following areas:
